I'm surprised that "The Music Box" is p.d.
Are there any other Laurel & Hardy short talkies in the p.d.?

i wonder what gives you the idea that "the music box" is in the public domain ? because none of the stan and laurel shorty`s are
as far as i know mgm do own the rights
do someone of the arichve staff actual check the uploads lately ?
because i`ve noticed some movie uploads that are questionable
or is it like "as far no one complains anything gos" from now on ??

You ought to log off before you walk away from your computer. Apparently, a rat took advantage of your failure to do that and danced on your keyboard, creating a bunch of gibberish that vaguely resembles a message in English. Of course, he was unable to manipulate the shift-key, and everything was in lower case.

i`ve noticed some movie uploads that are questionable
or is it like "as far no one complains anything gos" from now on ??There is a very small staff to cover a lot of stuff to do. So, if you see questionable material, it would be great if you could volunteer your time by posting a link to the item, with details of what you know about the rights status.

Agreed. I'm actually gonna download at least another 100 songs by him. Too bad most people have forgotten him, While everybody remembers the Bay City Rollers :-(

"Famous" in "questionable" land here would be to train with both Hatake Kakashi and Urahara Kisuke, go 15 rounds with both the Undertaker and The Rock, then do a victory song with both Amr Diab and Mishary Rashid Al-Afasy. :P

I am a fan of L&H's fan from wayback but if it's not P.D.: you can't run it on this site. IA is a site to devoted to public domain material. If the copyright has not expired on a certain media (i.e. Laurel and Hardy Music Box)then this site is in violation of copyright law
and must shut down.
